Walker Gets Invite…

WalkerAs per a comment left by his Dad, Gord Walker, last night, Winterhawks forward Luke Walker will be attending the New York Rangers camp in September.

Luke led all Hawks in goals scored last year with 29.

Luke is once again following in his Dad’s footsteps as Gord was a 3rd round selection of the New York Rangers in the 1983 NHL Draft and appeared in 19 games with the Rangers, scoring 2-4-6 with 21 PIM’s during his stay on Broadway.

Training camp for the Hawks starts on-ice on Sunday at the Memorial Coliseum.
