Four Selected for Top Prospects Game

For the second straight year, the Portland Winterhawks will have four players taking part in the annual CHL/NHL Home Hardware Top Prospects Game to be held on January 19, 2011, in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre.

Forwards Sven Bärtschi and Ty Rattie will be joined by defensemen Joe Morrow and Tyler Wotherspoon in the game held for first-year eligible NHL prospects.  The players are selected to play by a vote of NHL General Managers.

Last year, Portland had four players take part as well – Ryan Johansen, Nino Niederreiter, Brad Ross and Troy Rutkowski.

Morrow, Rattie and Wotherspoon will dress for Team Cherry (Red – Coached by Don Cherry) in the contest while Bärtschi will dress for Team Orr (White – Coached by Doug Gilmour).

For more information…it can be found here.

Congratulations to all four!
