Ryan Johansen Returned to Portland…

The Columbus Blue Jackets have returned the fourth overall selection in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft Ryan Johansen to the Portland Winterhawks this morning.

Not sure when Johansen will get into Portland and be available to play, but this is great news for the Hawks.

Oliver Gabriel is also back in Portland and should play tonight against Seattle.

Only Nino Niederreiter remains away at camp with the New York Islanders…

  1. Awesome… Sorry for Johansen, but happy for the ‘Hawks!!!!

  2. very nice! hopefully he plays tonight…

  3. Yeehaw!

I’m sure there’s an element of disappointment for him, but it can’t be too bad coming back to familiar faces and a championship-caliber team.

  4. Who gets credit for that graphic? Is that a CBJ thing? That was Todd’s deal first, right?

  5. Not sure who made the picture…found it on a Blue Jackets blog site…pretty cool, though.
