In Everett…

Seems like I was just here a few day ago…oh yeah…I was…

Game four in five nights for your Hawks who had a nice bounce back game last night following Friday’s loss to Tri City.  The 8-3 win over Prince Albert was fun to watch, but probably had a few too many scoring chances against if you’re the Hawks Coaching staff.

The Hawks have now given up 38 shots in each of the past two games, much more than the desired number.

But, all things considered, sitting at 7-2-0-0 as the team embarks on their longest road trip of the season isn’t a bad place to be and with a win tonight, the Hawks can guarantee that even if they lose all six games against the Central Division (God forbid!) they will still be at .500 after the tough stretch of games to start the season.  I think all of us would have taken that in August…

It isn’t going to be easy tonight as the Silvertips haven’t played since they lost to Portland on Wednesday night and they are, I’m sure, looking for a bit of revenge.   The first period is going to be huge and the Hawks will most likely have to weather the storm.

I haven’t seen the line-ups for tonight as of yet…but I think the changes for Portland are Daniel Johnston in for Tyler Wotherspoon and Kurtis Mucha starting in net.

A little over an hour away from puck drop…I’m ready now…lets go…
