Ross Named To U18 Team…

RossBrad Ross, the Hawks 1st Round Selection in the 2007 Bantam Draft and reigning rookie of the year, was selected as part of Team Canada’s U18 team that will play in the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Defenseman Troy Rutkowski also took part in the weekend try-out, but was not selected to take part in the tournament.

Ross was one of four WHL forwards to be selected, the others were Prince George’s Brett Connolly, Moose Jaw’s Quinton Howden and Regina’s Jordan Weal.
