Team Pacific Now 2-0…

ross1Snagged this photo of Brad Ross going up against Team Germany from www.hockeycanada.ca .  Ross didn’t score on the play, but he did pick up an assist in the 5-1 win.

Ross now has 1-2-3 in 2 games as Team Pacific is 2-0 to start the World U17 Championships in Port Alberni, BC.

Troy Rutkowski went scoreless in the game and has one goal in two games.

Keith Hamilton has yet to see action, backing up Everett goaltender Kent Simpson in the first two games.

Radim Valchar and the Czech Republic team got their first win of the World U20 Championships yesterday, beating Germany 6-0.

Valchar didn’t hit the scoresheet, but was credited with 3 shots on goal.

I’ll post Hawks/Birds game notes later today…
